What is As-Built Drawings?

As-Built Drawings, also called record drawings, are the final revised drawings a contractor submits at project completion. They show how the work was actually built, with every site modification, change order and deviation from the original design.

Practical example

While installing plumbing lines, the contractor finds a structural beam in the way of the planned pipe path and reroutes the pipes. The As-Built Drawings record this actual route, which the facility management team needs for future maintenance.

In SuperWise

In SuperWise, drawings are project documents kept in folders, each with a document number, a purpose (For Approval, For Construction or As Built), a stage and a revision history. A document can be linked to the schedule node it applies to, and view, upload and delete rights are set per folder by role.
