Comparison

StrategicERP and SuperWise for construction contractors

StrategicERP's own pages describe an ERP for large construction and infrastructure businesses, with RA billing and MS Project import and export. This page compares the two, including where StrategicERP lists more.

The SuperWise schedule playground: a task tree with WBS codes, dates, durations and progress beside a Gantt timeline with the critical path highlighted, and an inspector for the selected task.

Where StrategicERP fits well

StrategicERP's infrastructure page says it was developed for managing large-scale construction and infrastructure businesses. It lists RA billing based on project progress, tendering and registration of contractors, goods requisition, comparison and purchase order creation, stock ledger management with GRN and GIN, and integration with Tally and Oracle Financials.

Its project portfolio page lists import and export of the project schedule from MS Project, tracking daily progress from the mobile app with live images, and well-defined APIs for third-party applications. On those pages it covers more of the finance side than SuperWise does.

Fit, side by side

Who should choose which

Pick on the work you need done first. Each side rests on something the product states or documents.

Choose StrategicERP if

Choose SuperWise if

  • You need the measurement book chain: sheets that feed RA bill quantities, capped at the work order quantity.
  • You want approvals by role, any or all members, with the approver, the date and the comment kept on every step.
  • You want site-first records and a DPR the site team fills in, with schedule import from Microsoft Project files or Excel.

Where SuperWise differs

SuperWise keeps the measurement book and the RA bill in one chain. Measurement sheets approved at site feed the bill quantities, and approval steps by role record who approved, when and with what comment.

StrategicERP lists RA billing. The pages we read do not mention a measurement book. On MS Project its page lists import and export, while SuperWise imports MPP or XML and writes no MPP file back.

A SuperWise running account bill for a contractor: work order lines with this bill, cumulative and work order quantities, rate and amount, the certified total with mobilization recovery, retention and TDS deducted to a net payable, the approval trail and the contract position.

Audit and evidence

In SuperWise the record carries its evidence: a quality status and photos on the delivery challan, attachments on an issue, and a stored approver, date and comment at each approval step.

StrategicERP's app page lists real-time project updates through an Interactive DPR, daily progress reports and store aging and stock reports. The pages do not say what an approval stores.

A SuperWise delivery challan record against a purchase order: supplier challan, vehicle and driver, ordered and delivered quantities with the permissible variation and a Short status on two lines, three photo tiles, a quality check with remarks, and Approve and Flag for review buttons.

Integrations with other tools

SuperWise imports MPP, XML and Excel schedules and has Zapier triggers and actions. A bill inward can be marked as passed to Tally, with who and when.

StrategicERP's infrastructure page lists integration with Tally and Oracle Financials, and its home page says it syncs with portals such as Tally, SAP, eSSL, 99Acres, Housing and Magicbricks. If a live accounts link matters, that is a difference in StrategicERP's favour on its own description.

How a rollout runs

An ERP covering accounts, stock and payroll takes a larger rollout than a site and contract system. With SuperWise, company masters and a project BOQ come first, and site entries can begin on one project.

Choose a pilot project with an active contractor, so the first RA bill goes through the full measurement chain.

Migration and onboarding

SuperWise documents no importer for ERP records. Resources import from Excel and the schedule from an MPP, XML or Excel file. BOQ and work orders are entered in the product.

If you move from StrategicERP, keep its ledgers and stock history there. The pages we read do not describe a data export, so ask StrategicERP what it offers.
