GFC drawings, short for Good For Construction, are the final blueprints stamped and released by the principal architect and structural consultant. ## Practical example

A [site engineer](https://superwise.site/glossary/site-engineer/) receives a set of plumbing drawings. Before the plumber lays pipes in the floor slab, the engineer checks the title block for a GFC stamp. If the drawing is marked Tender Purpose Only, the engineer halts the work, because building from unapproved drawings leads to rework.
